What Did I Earn In My Second Month Of Medium Partnership?
Let’s go see it together. I believe you’ll be as surprised as I was
This article will cover what the second month brought in the affiliate program.
The second paid month
So how was my second month in the affiliate program? I won’t keep you guessing for long. From my point of view, it was another amazing result, considering that the vast majority of people shared with me the results when they practically didn’t earn a single $ per month in the first year. I was surprised by my results. Within the second month, I earned a whopping $723.08 thanks to you guys.
The average income per day
What’s even more surprising is the fact that I wasn’t even in the affiliate program for a whole month, so if we look at it in terms of average earnings per day when I was in the affiliate program, then it’s in terms of a full month, that would be an active-passive income of
Month income / days in month= $/day
723.08/31 = $23.3251613/day
This is a very nice result that I didn’t expect in both cases.
The important thing to realize is this fact. It wouldn’t be possible without you, my readers, for which I thank you. It means a lot to me as I am beginning to be rewarded for months of effort.
Covering costs
My first month in the affiliate program was able to cover the cost of a paid media membership and partially pay for a year’s subscription to Grammarly. I carried over a $10 debt from last month that was left to be paid in my annual Grammarly subscription.
To make better content for you, I purchased a basic version of Adobe Photoshop Elements, which I currently use to prepare preview images for you. This fun one cost me $99.99. So the total cost this month will be:
$10 — Rest of Grammarly Year Subscription
$100 — Adobe Photoshop Elements
— —
$110 — Total Costs
Top 5 articles
Let’s look together at the data for the most profitable.
The most profitable article in this month
This article, as well as the first in this imaginary ranking, was a “zombie” for some time before its moment came, and people became interested in this topic. It kind of makes me think that I sometimes have a nose for topics that have yet to be interesting.
Too bad this doesn’t work for the lottery; you could keep betting the same numbers for a while, and one day it would work, but I wouldn’t be happy with that kind of profit. I perceive the earnings from the articles as well deserved because I devote my time to them, and since you read my articles, I hope they have added value for you.
What does the chart next to the article tell us this time? Again, this article went live later after it was published. The chart shows several peaks, which means that this is a topic that people are returning to in some iterations, which may mean that this article is nowhere near its yield regarding the earnings it could bring in.
Again, there’s an excellent distribution in favour of readers on the medium platform, which means this article will potentially be seen by more people who have paid subscriptions. Therefore it’s possible to scoop up members reading time that is somehow converted into money.
Regarding audience distribution, it again turns out that the technology area is right for me. The largest representation of internal members are readers interested in technology.
My results this month prove that it pays to write articles under publications, as your content will reach an audience interested in the topic.
